Dear All:

Spoke with Anita Simons in Mobile this afternoon. She and her husband 
Dewey were Holy Spirit Church's delegates at Synod this year. All 
members of the parish have survived. Some had extensive damage to their 
homes, one elderly couple's home was completely washed away--all are 
safe! Thanks be to God.

Mike Napoli+, their priest, is in Houston for chemo for his cancer so he 
and his wife are safe also but they had to get to Houston from Mobile in 
a most circuitous route because I-10 is gone in many places.
