I've got a G3/233  using the Extended Format, with a Grappler SCSI 940UW 
controlling a 9.1 Gbyte Ultra Wide Internal Hard Drive added, a SnapScan 
Scanner & a Club Mac 4x6 "CD Burner" .. Using Emailer 2.3 with a Zoom 56K 
Modem  .. Viewed on a 17 inch ViewSonic Monitor

If OS 8.5.1 is SO HOT .. How come you had to TRASH a whole PASSEL of it 
to get back your speed

The trouble with Trashing Extensions is every time you trash some .. An 
update of some program has a need for about a half dozen that you've 
trashed .. 

The Irony of this is .. Some of the Extensions conflict with the 
Applications that you have

They are "Poison" for some Applications while being "medicine" For others 
.. Catch 22

For Instance .. That Appearance Manager has its "Fingers" into every Pie 
On The Shelf .. 

Another .. Like .. It takes an "Act Of Congress" to get rid of Apple Talk 
and Ethernet (or what ever it is) so you can use a plain old ImageWriter 
II Printer

Starting with OS 8 .. That Error -194 started (Failed to load Resource) 
popped up .. Now Remote access (Old PPP) starts to give a WHOLE MESS of 
reasons that you didn't get a good connect ..

What I would like to see is a "Bare Bones" Basic OS that the Propeller 
Heads can ADD TO .. Instead of the "Big Bloated Monstrosity" that the 
AVERAGE user has to figure out what stuff is USELESS to him .. Then 
venture into the long drawn out procedure of finding out what he can 
"SAFELY" Discard

The Slimmer System SHOULD BE A Basic System .. The Fatter System should 
be "The User Built System"

BUT .. Its the opposite .. A Ridiculous Obesity of Bell & Whistles
