Let's just not repost it to other lists for now. Yes, FB^3 has separated the code generator from the compiler. Code generators are drop in tables. Currently there is a 68K and a PPC generator. Who knows what could be next? Our temporary interface program is still program Generator. But that will change by the second release or so. Our project manager is so open that you could actually use BBEDIT or CodeWarrior or AppleWorks as your editor and it would correctly open the files with the application that created them. (That even includes res files that open in ResEdit, Resourcerer, PG, etc.) The runtime files are no longer hidden in Code Resource #5. They are written in plain source code and can be modified by you. There are currently two completed runtime shells: One emulates FBII, the other is a lite runtime that automatically puts up a scrolling text window and a graphic window. The output from your program is of course editable, saveable, printable, etc. Best, -STAZ ~)~ http://www.stazsoftware.com mailto:staz@... Orders: 800-348-2623 Tech: 228-255-7085 FAX: 228-255-7086
