Hi,
The discussion on PRAM settings and Daylight Savings Time got me 
thinking FB-wise about a problem that I'm working on.  I'm trying to 
find a way to reset the AppleTalk connection to Ethernet (instead of 
default) after a user zaps the PRAM in one of our student labs.  I've 
been doing it in AppleScript, but it runs way too slow.  My 
experience with FB is more along the lines of data collection and 
user interface stuff (with a little NASA shuttle crew experiment 
thrown in), not really messing with the operating system.
What i want, is something that would check the AppleTalk connection 
at startup.  If the connection isn't via Ethernet, then change it to 
Ethernet and make it active.   *Seems* simple enough.  Ha!  Any help 
with this, public or private would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!
