Subject: Time: 8:02 PM OFFICE MEMO faux copy protection Date: 12/25/97 I have an application, written in FutureBASIC, that I would like to freely share with other members of my academic community. The application has a splashscreen that shows my university's logo. I don't need real copy protection but I would like to insure that savvy users don't get into the resource file and change or delete the PICT and vers resources that name my university. Is it possible to get the size of a PICT resource, determine if it has been changed, and disable the program if it has? Are there other suggestions on how to protect the logo? Thanks in advance.
