Yes, that is what I'm saying. Whe n you use ON TIMER you set up another
event loop that you haver no control over. You can never turn it off! As
such, your program, IMHO, becomes unnecessarily complicated.

Try to think of another way to accomplish the same thing. The only
situation I ever saw that needed an ON TIMER thingie was Ross' marching
ants. I never figured a way around that. However, for the exception of
things like that, you should never be forced to use ON TIMER.

Your first assumption was correct. It is better to place a FN within the
HANDEEVENTS loop to check for time elapsed.

And, this is really not a problem with FB, but just an added feature that
works well in limited cases, but not so good for large programs.
