Just FYI---when we say "rubber" it refers to a condom not a standalone
pencil eraser.  Seems that many of these words are sexually-related over
here in the US. Another one is "knock me up in the morning". Over here this
means to get someone pregnant. Oh well, thought I would mention this
offline. Your joke was understood but I'm sure there were a few chuckles.
