Thanks for thought Bowerbird, but there are no picture fields in the
window.

When I create a window, I also create a gworld and do all my drawing to
the gworld, and my refreshes from the gworld.

This way I can have a variety of flicker free refreshes , from a dumb
copybits when the os calls for a refresh, through  a series of item
redraws, to a complete redraw of all items.

FB Controls sit on top of all these graphics.

All this works fine in FBII, but as I say I can't get at the edit
fields.

Some buttons also act strangely.

I am wondering if I am having some confusion between ActiveDoc ActivePlt
and ActiveWnd ??

I have a Doc window open and a pallet.

Sorry this is so confused.
