um, didn't mean to mislead you...

we've actually discussed this before,
and even the experts like andy pritchard
are stumped...

so, actually, it's not simple.

even if it seems like it should be...

(after all, darn it,
isn't a movie nothing more than
a sequence of picts, 
of course it is (not)!)

still, remember, of course,
we remain quite willing to
bequeath the
genius crown
to those who
provide the
breakthroughs...

p.s.  #1 experiment on the list
if i was making it
would be to
make a 1-pict movie
(then a 2-pict, then 3, etc...)
using "converttomovie" and 
several other such programs,
trying to figure out the file format
by reverse-engineering the results.

of course, much smarter people than me would
just go to the i.m. docs and be much more efficient...
