I agree with virtually everything that Bill said. Personally, in view of the
load on the list, I just unsubscribe when I'm away for a week or more, which
is a pity, because I then miss useful stuff.

I guess an alternate list is the way ahead, with this list reserved for
"real" FB stuff.

And may I suggest "FB World" as an alternate title.
