Let me add my two cents. I, too, use Superpaint 3.5 as my graphics program of choice, even though I have, perhaps, a dozen different graphics apps. I run it on a G-3 with System 8.6. I have found a small memory bug that emerges if I have too many documents open at once. The bug goes away if I close one or two of the docs. Other than that, Superpaint runs smoothly. It is obvious from the number of FB programers who have indicated that they still use this "obsolete" software, that Aldus had a good thing. Perhaps the present owner of the copyright (is it Adobe?) could be persuaded to re-introduce it. I would happily buy an updated version. Richard <<<<<<I haven't posted in a long time, but, I couldn't resist this one.... May I suggest SuperPaint as the *best* choice. If you can get your hands on it (by Silicon Beach Software, Inc. v3.0 1988-1991) you will be very pleased. The program is loaded with many types of options/effects for both the paint (bitmap) and draw (vector) layers. It's fast, user friendly, and excellant renditions. If you are into drawing, then SuperPaint, ImageGrabber, and the clipboard are the three best tools to have available to you. Please excuse this commercial, but, I have just aquired the new Mac G4 running System 9. I was afraid that Superpaint (68K) would not run in this new, much faster environment, wow, was I surprised. Program well written.>>>>
