Hello,

I'm sure someone out there can help me with this small but annoying 
problem. I would like to take advantage of the "Use a Network Time 
Server" function offered in the Date & Time CP in OS 8.6. Every time I 
try I get the message:

"The server selected is not a network time server. Please select a valid 
network time server and try again. For information about available public 
time servers, see Mac OS Help."

The CP comes with addresses installed for servers in US, Asia and Europe. 
None of them work for me. I tried the help file, which gave a URL for a 
list of public servers. I tried several of those, and still got the same 
message. Would someone please tell me (privately) what I am missing?
