i'm hoping the x-fb header is enough warning to 
those who would like to avoid this thread,
but i'm sure there are some who are interested.

i ordered d.s.l. from earthlink two weeks ago.
they are sending me a self-install kit.
they said it'd take two weeks.
i am calling them today to ask where it is...        :+)

the cost is $40.
i'm keeping my a.o.l. account,
as i've had that address for years now.
(i hate moving, don't you?)

i would've rather hooked up with a.o.l.'s d.s.l.,
but it's only available for some windows users now.

i believe i can get a reduced a.o.l. monthly rate, 
though, because i'm "bringing my own access".

i'm also wondering what others are doing,
and how it's working out, so please share.

i'll be happy to fill people in when i get things rolling.
