Doesn't really mean much these days. It only means file transfers from one
computer to another. You know - File Sharing.

In The "old" days there were supiriour computers, where they were
"possibly" called peers - the expert to expert connection. They had the
files you wanted.

It's all gone now.

Well actually its all still there.

Peering, interesting concept. What has happened to it. Is it usefull. Can I
peer at your computer. I think not. Unless you allow it.
