>I think the clickable URL is important too. You could however, leave out >the www if you want. That will depend on dns records, but in your case, >tedd, it looks like your site will take http://sperling.com just fine. If you want to guarantee that command-click will take you there (from just about any OS 8 or better application) put <http://www.sperling.com> INCLUDE THE BRACKETS! 'Net-savvy apps will look for http:// - the OS itself looks for <>, thus making this doable in many word processors, etc. >Please leave the html out of your email though!!! IE and Netscape both >let you generate an HTML email (I think they even default to that >capability), but I agree with those who think it's bad manners. Not only that, but it's a quick way to find yourself unsubscribed from almost ANY mailing list, most especially this one. If the FB server is not set up to automatically reject HTML mail (it should be) it will be rejected at my Mac as spam and filed directly in the trash can. Hm. Which makes me wonder if I'm not seeing some messages... Please _don't_ everybody try it. I'll appoint Derek to send ONE message in HTML format to the list, since I know he has OS/X and others available. If it makes it through, Derek can email me privately and tell me it did, in case I just don't see it because of my own edits. Then I can ask associate.com to check the settings to make sure no more get through. HTML mail is not acceptable, for many, many reasons. Someday it will be, I'm sure, but we're not there yet. Bill
