Thanks.  Sometimes we get so interested in solving a problem, we don't
realize we have already have a solution.  The scripts are already installing
many preferences files, so why not just include Appearance as one of the
many.  (I also will uncheck Smooth Fonts.  I never have figured out what
that is all about.  I don't know what they are supposed to be, but smooth,
they're not.  Sort of a retro 60's computer font look, I guess.)
