Since this is well off topic, all I can do is refer you to two web resources:

The use of Meta Tags is evolving. As the standards change, so do the way
the browsers implement them. Also, propriety browsers may introduce
"propriety" standards. These may come into common usage and affect
decisions about future implementations of the W3C standard.

That is why Netscoop 4.x and Exploder 4.x implemented pragma differently.

You are going to have to do a web search to see how versions 5 and 6 of
these browsers cope with pragma. (I don't know).
