As far as searching my own archives, I have no need to keep all the email that everyone sends -- it's too much clutter. It's almost too much just to keep copies of my own email, but I do. I do so for a variety of reasons which include providing evidence for discussions like this one. I don't want to find myself stating something that I can't prove. Therefore, I try, as best I can, to research things before I claim them to be true. As for the fuzzy logic thing, I don't care who said what when -- I only state what I can prove and let things fall as they will. Besides, neither one of us can claim that we did anything to advance the field -- we're just bystanders trying to understand the game.
