As I write this and FB^3 prog is running in the background generating all of the primes up to the limit of a long variable and it is checking approximatley 25000 numbers every 30 seconds, running on my 500Mhz iBook. How does FB convert strings to numbers when you use the VAL statement. Would I be able to write something similar that converts the container to my really long record (see Very Big Numbers)?
