According to TechTool Pro, the only slots still open are A1 and B1. Coulda swore I filled 'em in the other direction. It looks like Apple started with A6/B6 and I just kept working on down from there. I'm gonna look at the labels on the motherboard once I open the case again. Apple says, BTW, that where you put RAM doesn't matter except for the interleaving. I've got a grain of salt right here... TTP finds no problems with my RAM. I've got an intermittent problem. The 9600 isn't all that bad, once I lug that old battleship to a clear table to open it up. In terms of RAM upgrades, it beats the hell out of fiddling with the PCs at work. Mark Lincoln
