The live scrolls I am familiar with aren't "jumpy". In the test window, I
can scroll down using the thumb about a centimeter before it jumps to the
next scroll position, with the same on down.

In BBEdit, and others, the scroll in the window is proportional and
realtime when live scrolling. That is, move the thumb a little, the whole
window moves a little without waiting until some threshold is crossed. Is
this due to the way the application was set up, or is this the kind of live
scrolling that FB^3 will do...? (or is this some kind of extension
conflict?)  Quadra 630/PPC upgrade card, PPC 601/66.
