That said, it is better to work starting with the Apple Headers directly. They are available at Apple web site, albeit a huge download for a slow connection. I think also that Heather has posted at the fborg site her conversion work almost finished. > > it looks like you have translated all the headers so i will have to pick > through and look for just the print record, but what is better: to put in in > morceaux, like you do, or to have it all in one record, like i tried? > > i can imagine the advantage of the cutup approach if the particular > [sub]records were reused elsewhere, other than that... > > would you care to educate me on this matter? > At the moment, I cannot think of any problem with the way you did the things (well other than the inconvenience you have already mentioned). Perhaps, it is better to stick with Apple's definitions. I know that the work on the header files started a very long time ago, but I would have loved to see those files more in line with Apple's documentation. Correctly translated they could hold plenty of useful information (cf. my sound header file). > > ps. can't find your revised dragmanager stuff, can you backchannel it to me > directly. > Sorry to be late in answering, I was off today. The work I've done is for the PG Filter (I've corrected a couple of minor bugs and added the translucent feature for the PICT fields).
