in the interest of putting this thread to bed,
and with all due respect, if the simple desire is to 
replicate the value of one of the first 45 cells in the 50th,
why not just choose a random number from 1 to 45,
get the value of that cell, and put it into the 50th?

we've confused the newbie who asked this question originally so
hopelessly, he ran screaming from the room and is now outside
