who had to switch to 640*480 to read the 
non-adjustable c.s.s. text on jonathan's website...

my advice to always let the user resize the window
is based on my bad experience from _not_ letting them...
i've wasted so much time re-writing to different screensizes...

take my word for it, people, resizeable is the way to go,
you can't make any assumptions 
that will hold water for long
about the size of a user's screen,
it could be anything from a handheld
to a 48-incher doing blueprints in an architectural office...
