Found the lost Apple MIDI Manager Docs.

There were supposed to be an SDK in Obsolete and Unsupported, but all the
links are bad or invalid.

So, using Google, I found them at this nice Mac MIDI and sound site.

Cool. Just download Apple DocViewer from the apple developer ftp site
(utilities) and you are good to go.

Right now, also, at http://www.opcode.com/downloads/

You can download StudioVision 4.5.1 and VisionDSP 4.5.1 as freeware. You
will need to seek out a file called Acadia for the sound engine, and also
an ASIO sound manager driver, if you didn't own it previously.

http://fm-music.com/v/text_target.html

has the Acadia engine and docs for the program.

http://www.griffintechnology.com/audio/drivers/ASIODriver.sit.hqx

has an ASIO driver for the Sound Manager.

The site is only valid for downloading after 8 PM CST and 6AM CST due to
network difficulties caused by the mob downloading rush.

DigiDesign also has their ProTools released as a freeware version, doing 8
track audio and sequencing, big download.
