you always get that wrong.
"textbook" was programmed by mark whitehead.
but yes, i agree, it's a very useful app.
and the example with fb posts is great.
(mark also diligently collected the futurebasic listserve
posts as content to use in that example of his program.)

bill, did you take a look at textbook,
to see how it would serve your purpose?

the setext reader (can't remember what it's called)
was an early example of a good electronic-book app,
though i would guess it's showing its age by now...

but yes, book-macway takes the summary of subject headers
found at the top of each digest and turns them into buttons
that the user can click to jump immediately to each post...
