One source of confusion with the current interface is that the bottom section of the Command menu, which is grayed out when a project is open and foremost, reflects the choice of the Runtime for last non-project file you have had open. It has no relation to the project you may have open and foremost. To see how this works try this: 1. Open one of your projects. Note if the grayed out Runtime selection is Console, Standard BASIC or Appearance Compliant. 2. Now open a New file. The bottom section of the Command menu is no longer grayed out, so select some different choice of the Runtime. 3. Click in your project to bring it foremost. Note that the now grayed out Runtime selection remains the one you selected in step 2, not the one previously shown. 4. Quit the FB program, then reopen your project. Note the grayed out Runtime selection is still the one you chose in step 2. In other words FB remembers the last non-project setting. In none of these moves is the Runtime for the project changed, it remains whatever it was when the project was created. To me this was confusing until I caught on. I would (and will) suggest to Staz that it would help if, when a project is open and foremost, the project's choice of Runtime be checked, even though it is grayed out, just to avoid the confusion described above. Greetings to all, after a long quiet spell, RCog
