I really do not like the appearance of the smoothed Geneva fonts 12
points and below used throughout my program in edit fields and a text.
Font smoothing makes them blurry and difficult to read.

I have Tinkertool in my system to turn off smoothing fonts 13 points
and below which makes all fonts, even those in edit fields, look great.

However, when I go to customer sites for installation of my accounting
software I have to set their system preferences to turn off font
smoothing of 12 points and below. Even when I use the system
preferences to turn off smoothing, Geneva fonts in my program still
seem to have font smoothing in edit fields and sometimes on the screen.
Tinkertool works great but I am not comfortable asking customers to
install Tinklertool to improve the appearance of the fonts.

I don't know if this is an FB problem or OS X problem, or a Geneva font
problem.
