This solved the problem. I had already tried this but got an error I 
didn't recognize. This time I tried and it worked. I'm not sure what 
I did different.

Anyway, I have some more issues to work through, but I'm getting a 
better understanding. I guess next step will be to play with a 
version that can do other calculations with menu commands to open a 
window for each applicable calc. I can also improve the input filter 
to allow decimal input.
