I work on these things all day at school. I just can't see having to go through this kind of pain if something goes wrong. It is just time. System is fine. But a 12 minute 9.2 is tolerable. A two disk Jaguar is really pushing it. We each have a firewire drive at work and I suppose we will simply can up a working set of systems and do it that way I know it is the future of the Mac. I just hope it doesn't damage the future. Macs have been simple. Simple to use. Simple to restore. I also worry about tech. When I ported PGGP Windows I did a little research. I found that sales would be X4. (True) I was told that development would be X4. (Pretty true) I was told that tech would be X4. (True.) I am sure hoping that the latter isn't going to shrink to X1 because the development is pushing X8. Anyway, thanks for the help. I am just grumpy. I want to work...not work on it. -- Best Wishes, George mailto: gbeckman@... http://www.pggp.com
