In updating Lightwright to OSX, I found that huge amounts of the PG code just weren't usable (or useful) in OSX, so I took the bare bones of PG, commented out large chunks of the rest, and invented parts where I had to fill in the gaps. The result is sort of a weird mule of a program, but it works! The dreariest part was having to manually write code to build every window and control, since PG never heard of most of the modern controls, and I really wanted "modern" pop-up menus and tab controls.
