Except when you can select but cannot open folders, and have to work from
the "Finder" up through the hierarchy to the file.

Another anolmaly using Word, is saving a file into a folder. Next time you
open the folder the file is not there, and there appears to be no way to
retrieve it. Happened to a friend, who printed the file, saved the file to
a folder, saved the folder on a USB stick, _and_ burned a CD. When he got
home the file was not on the USB stick, or the CD.

Maybe one day OS X will work, meanwhile I like 8.6
