I like your idea, Rich, but aren't there built-in FB commands to get 
these folders?

And if I use this method (or the built-in method) to find the 
application folder, will it find the Applications folder, or will it 
find the Applications (OS 9) folder?

Another question for you or for others is: What about folders that are 
not system-recognized folders?
