There are new constants for appearance run time that all start with 
"_PFxxxxxx". Even though I don't see it in the manual, there is a 
_PFNoFramed constant defined in Rntm Appearance.incl that works fine.

PICTURE FIELD _mypictInWindow,%4001,@r, 
_pfNoFramed_pfTransparent_centerpict
