Granted, that makes it easily accessible to anyone trying to hack it, but I think the consensus is that it doesn't pay to worry about the dedicated hacker. The point is to offer some incentive/motivation to the honest user to pay up. It's more a reminder than an enforcer. BTW, I think your demo version is too stingy, with or without the wait. It's hard to learn your program and its potential with just one window and 3 controls.
