I have been trying for some time now to learn how to extract the text from a
Text Edit button after information has been typed in. I searched the FB
Reference and Examples on Release 7, but have been unable to find an example of how
to do this.
I suspect it has something to do with: DEF GETBUTTONDATA.
The closest I've gotten is the Password +key filter demo (Examples /Release
7), but this deals with Password Buttons, not Text Edit. Probably the Tag is
wrong for Text Edit. I don't fully understand the parameters for DEF
GETBUTTONDATA either.
