I was able to make a good connection to the modem, Rich. It was a 1GHz eMac (version 3.3 in the profiler) running 10.2.4 as it came from the factory. I'm not sure it has the same modem as your customer's though. In the profiler it says "Apple Internal Modem, USB port 1, Vendor: HCF USB v.90 Data Fax Modem" I was a little surprised to learn that the internal modem is a USB device. I don't think I've seen that before on an internal Mac modem, but then I've been out of the modem game for years now :) If I can be of more help, let me know here or offlist. I have one older eMac that is about to come back from service. I could see what modem that one has. PB
