Robert P. : While I might/could have been the culprit, I'm not sure what bug could exist in my OS which would cause the observed problem. The code was generated by Bernie and sent to me. I simply ran the program and reported the results -- the process went like this. 1) Run the program, which produced: http://www.sperling.com/Picture1.pdf 2) Resize the window to minimum size. The process was done by dragging the grow box up and then left. http://www.sperling.com/Picture2.pdf Note the remnant scroll bar fragments to the right of the scroll bar. The problem could accumulate fragments by resizing the window to the right (but not down) like so: http://www.sperling.com/Picture3.pdf I do not observe this phenomena on any other piece of software I use. It only happens when using code generated by TWM. Why? tedd PS: How does one create a movie of one's keyboard antics? I've seen Quicktime movies showing examples of things like this, but don't know how to do it. The capture process appeared to be something simple like the "Shift-PuppyDogFoot-4" key sequence for capturing pictures of the desktop, but it was for short "this is what happened" movies. Does anyone know how to do this -- or is this some dream I had? -- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://sperling.com/
