I take the opportunity of this reply to acknowledge a mistake I made 
with QuiXample: I have not used the best compiler settings when building 
the version 1.2.6. This can hurt the speed a bit, perhaps it is not 
significant I can't tell, but just in case, I have uploaded at the same 
URL a new version numbered 1.2.7 which theoretically should run faster.
