As I understand it the new G3 just released is coming very close.  I have yet
to see it in person, but have heard several reliable people say this puppy
runs Windows using Soft PC faster than many pentiums.  They were talking about
Word and Excel stuff.  One hard core Windows friend said, "That is a _nice_
machine."
