Hi Bernie, Nice work, like usual. On Mar 17, 2006, at 6:47 AM, Bernie wrote: > I was wondering if it's worth pursuing (or not)? Well, if your goal is to present a simple method to use databrowsers, I'd say it is very worthwhile and looks good! Even with wonderful efforts from many, I believe databrowsers are still one of the most misunderstood controls available. The concept that caught me off guard (as you know) is adding itemIDs to a browser and not the data and having the data picked up at the callback. This and any other concepts like it need to be either completely explained, or performed on behalf of the programmer with a simple interface where they only supply the data. My own personal hurdle (and I haven't tried to tackle it yet because I've been busy finishing a browser implementation in my own application) is to learn how to manage CFArrays. Currently, I'm using dynamic arrays to stash the data and they work fine. I'm not suggesting using dynamic arrays in your demo, but just a reminder about the conceptual and practical hurdles here. I'll review the demo in more detail and send some feedback either here or backchannel. Thanks for sharing, I needed a break from doing some documentation. Brian S.
