You fellows are gems. I will attempt to answer all three with one  
message.

First of all I do not want to change all the tabs.  The First and  
Last names should be on one line so the tab after First should remain  
a tab.

A similar situation occurs for the City, State and Zip.

I will experiment with the Word program which is what I am using to  
see what I can utilize.   Another challenge for Word would be how to  
utilize it to place groups of data into the four quadrants of a page  
like I can do with PageMaker that is no longer usable on new computer.

I have written a program I call Pager that will take as input the  
number of pages in the finished booklet (in steps of 4).  I then  
refer to the full 8 1/2 x 11 sheet as a Plate and the program will  
specify on which Plate and Quadrant each Page of the booklet should  
be placed.  I have printouts of all the sizes of booklets I generally  
use so not being able to use that program any more is not a problem.

I don't care which language the program is written in as long as it  
works on my MacBook with Intel.

On another subject: Once before when the iBook was under warrantee  
the screen went black and would not respond to anything I did.  Apple  
Care gave me a combination of keys and power that brought it back to  
life.  Of course I was not smart enough to record that combination.  
Do any of you guys know the answer to to that one.  Even if I do get  
it working again I still want to upgrade to programs that will work  
on System 10.
