Nope, I didn't reformat the drive. Is that what you're supposed to do? Take
everything off the drive and the init it? Wow! They're not asking much.

Yep, I did that and found that a very short note pad file still takes 32K.

Sure, it's possible. In fact, I haven't clue where one would uncheck that
sort of thing anyway, so anything is possible.
