I use the Unix "rsync" utility built into MacOS and accessed via the command line. If the command line is not your preferred option, there are a few GUI wrappers around "rsync" that are floating around. One of them is "Backuplist 6.1" available at: http://rdutoit.home.comcast.net/~rdutoit/pub/Softw.html It was featured in MacUser UK and so may be a better GUI wrapper implementation? As with all such software, please please please ensure you read the docs so that your syncs do not delete the files you wish to retain by sync in the wrong direction by mistake!!! > From: Pete Beaumont <furbies@...> > Reply-To: <futurebasic@...> > Date: Mon, 9 Feb 2009 00:49:22 +1100 > To: FB List <futurebasic@...> > Subject: [FB] [X-FB] Want to sync more > > Hi All > > Anyone have any experience/recommendations with keeping some files/ > folders/app data synced between a desktop mac and a laptop mac ? > I have a .mac account which I use to sync Contacts & Bookmarks etc. > > But I would like to be able to sync files & folders as well. > > Any suggestions welcome.... > > regards > > Pete...
