So what will end up happening is that you'll have to agree to the terms before you actually see the terms you are agreeing to.
In essence, you have to pay in order to find out if the guidelines are acceptable to you.

While I havent seen the video, I read that Apple changed their battery program because the Neistat brothers made a video
that went viral, telling everyone about buyers were being ripped off on Apples ipod battery program. Where are the
Neistat brothers when you need them.

That is ridiculous.

FYI: Apple Developer Support replied to my question. This is a response to my question about an “access denied” message when using a link ( to access Mac App Store guidelines ) on Apple’s Developer site. The link requests a logon but a standard Mac Developer UserID ( like mine ) does not allow access. Don Jones, from Apple Developer Support, says a paid ( i.e. the $99 USD payment ) membership is required just to see the guidelines. Thought it unusual to require $99 just to see guidelines.

Re: Development Programs

Hello Brian,

The reason you are receiving an "Access Denied" page for that link is due to the fact that a paid program membership is required to access App Review Submission Guidelines.

Thank you for your interest in our programs.

Best Regards,

Don Jones
Apple Developer Support

After logging in with my free Apple developer ID the link is trying to go to:

<http://developer.apple.com/appstore/mac/resources/approval/guidelines.html>
before it displays the “access denied”
