Congratulations! Will be interested to see the Mac App Store in action, keep
us posted on your experiences!

Whilst Carbon apps are not banned (yet), using deprecated functions is
probably not prudent as Apple could retrospectively withdraw your app when
support for those deprecated functions is removed, possibly at the next
major OS upgrade?
