      Thanks for the input.

      This is something I'll give consideration to as I learn more  
about how to work with this new way of doing things.  I only found  
FBtoC a couple of months ago and have only really been working with it  
for just over a month.

      The vast majority of the coding I'm rewriting works with the  
system 10.5.4 that I have on the dual Intel IMac I'm using now.  It's  
just that some of the changes in how we have to do things is so  
foreign to me and so far different than anything I've experienced  
before, I'm have a  hard time making the transition.

      But that's not to say I won't keep trying to learn, but the  
application I'm rewriting is a huge piece of work with many filters  
and routines to alter an image and it also has paint, with airbrush  
and brush tools, and drawing tools.  I really don't want to try to  
completely rewrite this monster using coding I'm not used to.  Right  
now I'm having enough trouble with this coding.

      But I really do appreciate your input and thoughts.
