Lucy:
Do you assign the data to that string differently than the other strings?
I still find that when I try to do this:
a$="The string"
inside a code resource then I end up with an empty string.
But when I assign strings manually by moving memory around everything works
fine. (It's a headache, though; I've had to resort to POKEing ASCII codes
into the string one at a time just to enter the filenames for my resources.)
Staz says this shouldn't happen, but darned if I can figure it out.
