 Hi,

I am using a MacBook Pro running Snow Leopard (10.6.8) and the latest FB.

By trial and error I found that I could get color into buttons by
simply making the increment of the y-dimension of the button </= 20.
For example:

 BUTTON 101,_activeBtn,"MESSIER",(155,415)-(225,435),_shadow
This statement gives a blue (or graphite) colored button, depending on
how your Mac's button appearance under System Preference is set. Note
 the Y-increment is 20.

 BUTTON 101,_activeBtn,"MESSIER",(155,415)-(225,445),_shadow
This statement give a white button. Note the Y-increment is 30.

Is there any simple way to change button color to (say) red?

Also, on a non-static edit field, is there any simple way to color it while active? My non-static
fields resist all attempts to change it from white to any color.

Cheers,
Mike Hollis
