Thanks Bernie and Brian.

I was hoping there was someone who already had tackled those interfaces.  I will search for some sample codes to place a cocoa view on a 2nd monitor.  

For now, I will rely upon the user following directions [gasp] and placing the 2nd monitor in specific location and can always calculate where those coordinates are in respect to the main monitor.
